Raleigh Dog Society – Terms & Conditions Effective Date: Date of purchase Welcome to the Raleigh Dog Society (“RDS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing or renewing a membership with RDS, you (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before joining. 1. Membership Eligibility Members must be at least 18 years of age. By joining, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. Memberships are non-transferable and for personal use only. 3. Membership Term, Commitment & Renewal Memberships begin on the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. All memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment at the time of enrollment. A 30-day written notice is required to cancel. Cancellation requests must be sent to RDS via email. (hauseofdogsraleigh@gmail.com) Renewal fees are subject to change but will always be disclosed in advance. 4. Payments & Refunds All membership fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment or renewal. Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law. Certain events may require additional ticket purchases, even for members. 5. Events & Activities Events are reserved for members unless otherwise stated. Guests may be permitted at RDS’s discretion. Alcohol may be served at select events; valid government-issued ID is required. Members are responsible for their own safety and that of their pets when attending events. RDS is not responsible for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation in events. 6. Member Perks Certain memberships may include seasonal perks, such as toys, bandanas, or other items. Members will be notified by email when their seasonal perk is ready for pickup. Perks must be picked up within 30 days of the email notice. Items not picked up within this period will be forfeited without refund or replacement. No shipping is available. All perks must be picked up in person at designated RDS locations or events. 7. Member Conduct Members are expected to treat fellow members, staff, and pets with courtesy and respect. Aggressive behavior (by humans or dogs) may result in removal from an event or termination of membership without refund. Members agree to follow all posted rules, event instructions, and applicable laws. 8. Use of Images & Media By attending events, you consent to RDS photographing or filming for marketing and promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing prior to the event. 9. Liability Waiver Participation in RDS activities is voluntary. By joining, you release RDS, its owners, staff, and affiliates from liability for any injuries, losses, or damages sustained during membership activities. Members are solely responsible for the behavior and well-being of their dogs at events. 10. Changes to Membership & Terms RDS reserves the right to modify membership benefits, pricing, or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or posted notice. 11. Termination of Membership RDS may suspend or terminate a membership at its discretion for violations of these Terms. Termination does not entitle the Member to a refund. 12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
